I was trying to clean up some ugly, ugly FrontPage-generated code the other day and Dreamweaver just wasn't cutting it. Then I remembered that TopStyle Pro has HTML Tidy tied into it so I decided to give that a go. Basically, I wanted to take out all the extraneous spaces that FrontPage adds every time you edit a file. HTML Tidy took care of the spaces no problem. Now, I realize that Nick didn't write HTML Tidy but he did improve upon it. He added a GUI of sorts so you can easily edit the command line switches in HTML Tidy. I'd just been on the HTML Tidy page on the World Wide Web Consortium's site and I was wishing it had some sort of GUI and I looked in TopStyle and boom - there it was. So thanks, Nick. Your work amazes me. I love FeedDemon, too. Just waiting for Mozilla to be able to hook into it...
