I've been somewhat remiss in my updates lately, but I think it's important to mention my latest article on InformIT, Linux vs. Linux: Which Distro Should You Dump Windows For? The article has received quite a bit of attention, being InformIT's most viewed article for the month of September. While that's a good thing, it's brought some criticism from some Linux users, who think I should've included their favourite distribution, accused me of not being a "real" Linux user and on and on. While I appreciate the feedback and constructive criticism, people need to realize that this article can't be all things to all people. The title is also different from what I originally gave it. That said, I did work with my editor to update the article, incorporating some of the suggestions and observations made by various readers and even Linux distro representatives. So I hope people enjoy reading it, especially after the edits :)
