If you haven't already heard, Sony has taken it upon themselves to enforce digital rights management (DRM) by means of installing a rootkit on people's computers when they merely insert a Sony CD in their CD drives. Have a look at CNET's article on the subject. I for one won't be buying anymore Sony products anytime soon. As consumers, we need to send them a message that these tactics are unacceptable. Hurting their bottom line is the best way to do that. So let's see how they handle a huge drop in sales.
